Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Redcar are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil in a primary school. The role focuses on 1:1 support, adapting activities to meet needs and promoting engagement, progress and confidence in the classroom.

Requirements include experience supporting pupils with SEND and a patient, nurturing approach; a TA qualification is desirable but not essential. The role starts in September and offers pay of £95–£110 per day, inclusive of holiday pay.

We are seeking a dedicated and patient SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil in a primary school in Redcar who is currently working at an EYFS academic level.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, adapt learning activities to meet the pupil's needs, and help promote engagement, progress, and confidence in the classroom.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Relevant TA qualification desirable but not essential
