Job summary

TeacherActive is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) for a temporary role in Bromley from September 2026. The successful candidate will support pupils with complex needs including Autism, sensory needs, and personal development.

The position offers a supportive environment where the SEND TA will collaborate with the class teacher and support team, creating a nurturing atmosphere for students. Candidates with a caring approach and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children with SEND.
• Experience working with Autism / ASD, PMLD, or sensory needs.
• DBS on the Update Service.

The school supports children with complex needs including Autism / ASD, PMLD and sensory needs, and has built a strong reputation for providing a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEND TA on a full-time basis from September 2026. The successful SEND TA will be supporting pupils with their learning, communication, personal development and sensory regulation, while working closely with the class teacher and wider support team.

Requirements

• DBS on the Update Service
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children with SEND

• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
