Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a Primary School in Rotherham to recruit a Teaching Assistant on a temporary, full-time basis from September. The successful candidate will support pupils across the primary age range, including children with SEND, working alongside the class teacher to boost learning, engagement and individual needs.

The role offers CPD courses, certificates via the My-Progression channel, market leading pay and a referral scheme up to £200.

Qualifications

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a temporary, full-time basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the primary age range, including children with SEND, working alongside the class teacher to support learning, engagement and individual needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children with SEND
• Experience supporting primary-aged pupils
• A good understanding of how to support children with additional needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved
