Job summary

Educato Limited in Middleton is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our specialist team on a full-time basis. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, assist learning activities, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment throughout the school day.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children or young people, a calm, patient manner, and the ability to work well with teachers and the wider support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in education or SEND.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Confident building positive relationships with pupils.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Full-time availability.
• Hold a valid Child Workforce DBS or be willing to obtain one.
• SEND experience or relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
