Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is seeking a dedicated SEND Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school on a long-term basis, helping pupils with SEND thrive both academically and personally.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with academic, social, and emotional development, and work with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored assistance for pupils with needs such as ASC, ADHD, and SEMH.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with SEND in a school, care, or support setting.
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
