Job summary

The Sage School in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated teacher to join a growing independent specialist school. You will plan differentiated lessons, support pupils with SEND and SEMH, and contribute to EHCP reviews through personalised learning plans.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification; experienced UQTs considered.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
• Excellent classroom practice with high expectations for every learner.
• Understands building trusting relationships with young people.
• Committed to inclusive education and personalised learning.
• Shares Belonging, Confidence and Growth values.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Adapt curriculum content, resources and teaching approaches for accessibility.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Develop personalised learning plans and contribute to EHCP reviews.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt provision to maximise outcomes.
• Promote positive behaviour through relational approaches.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and external agencies.
• Support pupils' personal development and wellbeing.
