Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEND and SEMH.

Join a child-centered organisation offering in-person, hybrid, and work-from-home teaching opportunities, flexible hours, CPD mentoring, and a dedicated SEND support team.

We welcome passionate educators with QTS/QTLS, DBS clearance, and experience across KS1–KS5. Roles are self-employed and opportunities arise as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH/SEND needs
• Plan and report lessons with regular progress feedback
• Support KS1–KS5 students referred by local authorities and schools
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring in collaboration with safeguarding best practices

Skills

2+ years teaching experience with SEND

Familiarity with Maths/English/Science

QTS/QTLS qualified
