Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a specialist Primary school in Oldbury to recruit a SEND Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting immediately. You will lead a class, plan and deliver lessons, assess pupil progress and adapt learning for primary-aged pupils with PMLD.

• Strong planning, assessment and classroom management skills across a specialist setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead full classroom teaching responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt learning to individual needs of pupils with PMLD.
• Meet the needs of primary-aged pupils with complex needs to promote independence.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and inclusive practice.

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £160 - £220 per day

The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment focused on meeting individual needs, promoting independence and helping every pupil engage positively with their education.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start, leading to a permanent position for the right SEND Teacher. The successful SEND Teacher will take on full classroom teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering appropriate lessons, assessing pupil progress and adapting learning to meet the individual needs of primary-aged pupils with PMLD.
