Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teacher for a specialist primary provision in Sutton Coldfield. The role is full-time with an immediate start, teaching primary-aged pupils with complex needs in a supportive environment.

You will plan differentiated lessons, collaborate with Teaching Assistants, and adapt approaches to ensure each pupil makes progress. QTS and experience in SEND are essential.

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £170 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist primary provision in the B75 area supporting pupils with a range of complex needs. The setting provides an inclusive and supportive environment focused on helping pupils access education while developing their communication, confidence and independence.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teacher will teach primary-aged pupils with complex needs, plan and differentiate lessons around individual abilities and work closely with Teaching Assistants and other staff to provide consistent support.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching at primary level
• A strong SEND teaching background
• Experience supporting pupils with complex needs
• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt learning effectively
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach
