TeacherActive are recruiting for a SEND Teacher in Oldbury, supporting primary-aged pupils with PMLD. This full-time, long-term role starts immediately and has potential for permanency. You will deliver lessons, assess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs within a specialist setting.

The role requires QTS and experience in primary or SEND settings, with a patient and resilient approach to support pupils with complex needs.

Qualifications

• QTS required or equivalent
• Experience in primary or SEND settings
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and additional needs
• Strong planning, assessment and classroom management
• Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver appropriate lessons for primary-aged pupils
• Assess pupil progress and adapt learning to individual needs
