Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teacher in Oldbury for a full-time, long-term position starting immediately. The role involves leading classroom teaching for primary-aged pupils with PMLD, planning and delivering lessons, assessing progress and adapting teaching to individual needs.

The successful candidate will have QTS and prior SEND/primary experience, with strong planning, assessment and classroom management skills, to support pupils with complex needs in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching in a Primary or SEND setting.
• Experience supporting children with PMLD and additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead full classroom teaching responsibilities.
• Plan and deliver appropriate lessons.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt learning to individual needs.
• Commit to long-term, full-time duties and potential permanent appointment.
