TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a Qualified SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Haringey. The role requires BSL Level 2 or above and experience with deaf/hearing-impaired pupils, to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in a nurturing environment.

ASAP start with competitive daily rates based on experience. You will work with SENDCos and TAs to meet EHCP targets and promote pupil independence in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• BSL Level 2 or above essential.
• Experience teaching in SEND settings or specialist provisions.
• Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired pupils.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to SEND pupils.
• Use BSL to support communication and learning.
• Support pupils with hearing impairments and additional needs.
• Adapt teaching to meet EHCP targets and progress pupil outcomes.
• Collaborate with TAs, SENDCos and support staff to create an inclusive environment.
• Monitor progress and promote independence and achievement.
