Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a SEND Teacher for Spennymoor. Start date is September 2026 (or sooner). You will teach in SEND schools and provisions for children aged 5 to 16, covering short-term and long-term placements with options for full or part-time work.

Working in SEND schools and alternative provisions teaching children aged 5 to 16 with special educational needs and disabilities. Opportunities for specialised subjects and general cover working on a supply basis. You will be part of a team who will engage the children in the absence of their teacher to ensure that they do not miss out on their education and the school or alternative provision runs smoothly. As a SEND Teacher you will work, day to day, short-term, long-term with the option for full and part-time positions.
The specialist schools and provisions cater for students in with communication and interaction problems, learning difficulties, social or emotional issues and visual or hearing impairments. With brilliant facilities, resources and a staff team who pride themselves on their child-centred approach to raise engagement on daily basis. Most schools and provisions have excellent public transport links, but access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
