Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a SEND Teacher for long-term supply across Newmarket and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible. You will support pupils with a range of needs in mainstream and specialist provisions to foster inclusive learning environments.

Key duties include delivering high-quality lessons, differentiating content to meet EHCP targets, collaborating with SENCOs and support staff, and maintaining safeguarding standards across settings.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent certification required.
• Experience delivering SEND provision in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Strong differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills for SEND teaching.
• Flexible, reliable, and confident across different schools.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
