Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to join a dedicated secondary SEND department in Oxford from September 2026. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of needs and adapt activities to support progress.

QTS is essential with experience in SEND; you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and ensure interventions are effective while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

SEND Teacher – Full-Time

Start Date: September 2026
Location: Oxfordshire
Pay: £153 – £238 per day (paid to scale)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

SEND Teacher – Make a Real Difference Every Day

We are seeking a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to join a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities department of a secondary school from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with a wide range of learning difficulties, helping them achieve their academic potential and develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with students requiring additional support and will play a key role in creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Applications are welcomed from experienced SEND teachers as well as teachers with a primary education background, who are looking to apply their skills within a specialist support setting.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of special educational needs.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working with children with SEND.
  • Strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Commitment to supporting students with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
