Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support Primary and Secondary pupils at a specialist SEND school in Stafford. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, adapting activities to EHCP targets and promoting communication, emotional regulation and independence.

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists and SEND professionals in a nurturing setting. The role offers full-time hours (8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) on a temporary to permanent contract with an ASAP start; daily pay

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in education, care, support work, youth work, coaching, or residential setting.
  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND.
  • The ability to remain calm, positive, and proactive in challenging situations.

Location: Stafford
Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent – ASAP
Pay Rate: £92.59 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Monarch Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and specialist SEND school in Stafford that supports Primary and Secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASD, SLD, MLD, communication needs, and challenging behaviours.

The Role
