Job summary

SENse Learning in Swindon is seeking Specialist Teachers to provide one-to-one support for SEND and SEMH learners, delivering sessions in homes, online, or in the community to re-engage students with learning.

With 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience and QTS/QTLS, you will plan flexible, trauma-informed lessons, build strong relationships, and collaborate with parents, carers, and schools in a safeguarding-aware environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is required.
• Enhanced DBS and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons; monitor and communicate student progress.
