Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Specialist Teachers in the UK to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners, delivering sessions in homes, online, or in the community.

If you have 2+ years post-NQT experience, QTS or QTLS, and safeguarding checks, you can join a mission-driven team that values flexible hours, proactive planning, and trauma-informed approaches.

Roles are self-employed with rolling interviews; flexible hybrid/online tutoring opportunities are available across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references; right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with SEND learners and support across OT/face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats
• Plan, deliver and adapt one-to-one tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual needs
• Provide regular feedback on student progress and reporting to parents or schools
