Job summary

Premier Education are recruiting experienced SEND / SEMH Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for September opportunities across mainstream schools, specialist SEND provisions and alternative education settings in the Wigan and surrounding areas.

We welcome candidates with experience supporting children with SEND/SEMH, including autism, ADHD and learning needs. Roles vary from 1:1 to small groups and whole-class support, with DBS update service required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or SEMH needs.
• Ability to adapt approaches to individual needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across whole-class settings in SEN provisions.
• Provide targeted support in small groups or 1:1 as required.
• Deliver interventions to support learning, communication and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to promote safe learning environments.
• Help pupils engage and access learning across settings.
