Job summary

Premier Education in Bolton is recruiting experienced SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for September opportunities across mainstream schools, specialist SEND provisions and alternative settings. Roles range from temporary to long-term and potential permanent placements, with pay £92.56-£100 per day depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Recent experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
• Ability to adapt approach to meet individual needs.
• Patient, resilient and able to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across whole classes within a specialist SEND provision.
• Work with small groups or 1:1 to provide targeted SEND/SEMH support.
• Deliver interventions to support learning, communication, emotional regulation or social development.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENDCos and pastoral teams to create a safe learning environment.
• Help pupils access learning and engage positively with school.
