Job summary

Integra Education (North) LTD is seeking Teaching Assistants in Warrington to support children with SEMH and SEND needs. The role involves assisting class teachers, mentoring pupils, and supervising during breaks and activities, with a focus on building positive learning relationships.

The position is full-time and temporary, with term-time only duties and daily pay of £110. Prior experience in similar roles and an enhanced DBS are desirable.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
• Experience in SEMH/SEND environments
• Level 2 TA qualification desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
• Strong classroom support and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support one pupil or small groups
• Assist classroom teacher during lessons
• Report on pupils' progress and concerns to school staff
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time including trips
• Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation
• Set work and provide marking where appropriate
• Build positive relationships to foster learning outcomes
