Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a SEND Teacher to work in Sheffield and surrounding areas. Flexible start dates, part-time and full-time roles, and pay varies by scale, experience, and qualifications.

Excellent daily rates paid via PAYE, guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), CPD, and support from a dedicated consultant are offered. You will work with pupils with SEND, including MLD/SLD/ASD/SEMH, in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS Primary or Secondary subject specialism.
• Experience working with children with SEND including but not limited to MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD/PD/VI/HI.
• Have previous experience in a similar specialist setting or transferable experience from mainstream.
• Demonstrate passion to teach and collaborate with SEND team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring lessons tailored to pupils with various SEND needs.
• Collaborate with LSAs and other teachers to support pupil progress.
• Plan and deliver lessons that engage and motivate vulnerable students.
• Engage with pupils with needs such as MLD, ASC, ADHD, SLD and SEMH in classroom settings.

To be considered for the position of SEND Teacher, you will need to:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism.
• Experience working with children with a variety of SEND including but not limited to, MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD/PD/VI/HI and other complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
• Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA's
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

The role will require you to engage with pupils who have needs such as MLD, ASC, ADHD, SLD and SEMH.
