Job summary

Estuary Academy North in Gravesend is seeking an Intervention Mentor to support students with SEND and intervene where needed. You will build positive relationships, communicate clearly with staff and learners, and work as part of a dedicated team to raise attainment.

The role is 36 hours per week, term-time/full-time, with a salary at NJC Point 3 (£25,614) and a range of wellbeing and pension benefits. Closing date 23 October 2026; start November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Intervention Needs or SEND.
• Strong communication with staff, students and parents.
• Proven ability to work well in a team and adapt to needs.

Responsibilities

• Support interventions for students with SEND.
• Build positive relationships with learners and staff.
• Assist with strategies to raise attainment and engagement.
• Collaborate with teaching staff on personalised plans.
