Job summary

Thurcroft Junior Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SEND Integrated Resource Lead to develop and grow our 10-place Integrated Resource for pupils with EHCPs, focusing on Communication and Interaction and SEMH.

Based at Thurcroft Junior Academy, the post will work closely with ACET and RMBC, lead a small team, and shape the provision to ensure high-quality learning experiences for pupils with additional needs across the trust.

Qualifications

• Experienced SEND leader with passion and expertise in supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly Communication and Interaction and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
• Role based at Thurcroft Junior Academy and will involve working collaboratively with other academies across the trust.
• Will manage and lead a team consisting of a teacher and support staff to drive the provision and ensure high quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of a teacher and support staff to drive the Integrated Resource provision.
• Manage admissions, liaise with Local Authority, and support the annual review cycle to keep the Integrated Resource integral to the academy.
