Job summary

Aston Community Education Trust (ACET) seeks a SEND Integrated Resource Lead for Waverley Primary Academy to further develop and grow its SEND Integrated Resource provision. The role focuses on supporting pupils with EHCPs, particularly in Communication and Interaction and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

The post involves leading a small team and liaising with RMBC and ACET Inclusion leaders to ensure high-quality provision and alignment with academy objectives and safeguarding

Responsibilities

• The SEND Integrated Resource Lead will manage and lead a team consisting of a teacher and support staff.
• Drive the provision whilst supporting all staff to ensure the highest quality offer and delivery.
• Oversee organisational management of the Resource, including admissions, consultations, liaison with the Local Authority, and regular communication with the Principal, SENDCo and professionals to support the statutory annual review cycle.
• As a member of the SEND and Inclusion Team, meet regularly with the Principal and SENDCo to ensure the Integrated Resource remains integral to the provision of the whole academy.
• Model a commitment to the wider development of the academy and be a role model in professional attitude and conduct.
