Job summary

Truro & Penwith College is seeking an Inclusive Practitioner (SEND) to join our Learning Support team. The role centers on improving outcomes for learners with EHCPs and high needs through personalised, holistic support and collaboration with staff, families and external professionals.

You will embed PfA outcomes, help learners build independence and ensure inclusive practice across the college. A driving licence is required and relief of duties includes contributing to a supportive learning

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND.
• Strong communication and collaboration with learners, families and staff.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple learners.
• Hold maths and English grade 4/C or above.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for learners with EHCPs.
• Ensure learner voice, strengths and aspirations shape support.
• Coordinate personalised, holistic support for engagement in college life.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams, families and external professionals.
• Embed Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) outcomes for independence.
• Promote inclusive practice across the college.
