Job summary

Bournemouth and Poole College is seeking an Inclusion Lead to join our SEND Support team, managing a caseload of students with SEND and EHCPs. You will act as a key worker and advocate to help learners navigate college life.

Working with curriculum teams, families and external professionals, you will ensure personalised, person-centred support, monitor progress, and adapt strategies to keep needs met. You will lead Annual Reviews and multi-agency meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a designated caseload of students with SEND and EHCPs throughout their college journey
• Act as a key worker and advocate, ensuring personalised, person-centred support
• Collaborate with curriculum teams, ASAs, families and external professionals to promote positive outcomes
• Encourage student independence, confidence, and employability skills
• Plan, prepare for, and lead Annual Reviews and other multi-agency meetings
• Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet evolving needs
• Line manage Academic Support Assistants within your curriculum area
• Deliver SEND and inclusion training to colleagues across the College
• Conduct learning walks, observations and quality assurance to improve SEND provision
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance and documentation
