Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking a dedicated SEND Practitioner to support students with EHCPs and additional learning needs, in both one-to-one and group settings. You will help students access mainstream classes, build confidence, and develop independence within a small, supportive team at Yeovil College.

The role requires passion for inclusive education, strong interpersonal skills, and a background in Special Education Needs or related IT/admin tasks. Term-time and 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND or additional learning needs.
• Good communication and confidentiality.
• Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to work towards.
• Special Education Needs background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students individually and in groups to build confidence and independence.
• Assist with learning activities and classroom routines to enable participation.
