Job summary

The Priory Primary School in Sandwell is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our SEND Hub. You will lead teaching for pupils with complex communication needs and/or autism, plan ambitious adapted learning, and work with the Inclusion Leader to develop our specialist provision.

We welcome applicants with QTS and SEND experience, or mainstream teachers eager to develop expertise in SEND. The role is full-time within an inclusive, supportive team; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
• Experience with SEND, complex communication needs and/or autism is advantageous or a strong willingness to develop expertise.

Responsibilities

• Teach pupils with complex communication needs and autism within the SEND Hub.
• Plan and deliver high-quality, ambitious learning tailored to starting points and EHCP outcomes.
• Lead and support teaching within the Hub and collaborate with Support Staff and senior leaders.
