Protocol Education Ltd in Gateshead seeks an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist SEND school on a full-time basis. You will support pupils with SEND, lead small-group interventions, and work closely with teachers to deliver planned activities.

The ideal candidate will have HLTA/TA experience, be confident leading learning activities, patient, resilient, and a strong communicator who fosters positive relationships and inclusion.

Protocol Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming specialist SEND school in Gateshead on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA who is confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, leading interventions and helping children achieve their individual learning and development goals.

What You'll Be Doing

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to support pupils both academically and personally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and recording pupil progress
• Providing classroom cover when required
