HLTA – SEND Support | Gateshead

Would you like to work for a provision that truly values its staff?

We're recruiting a dedicated HLTA to join a highly supportive provision in Gateshead, providing learning support for children with a range of additional needs across different educational settings.

Please note: You must be able to drive as you'll be travelling between multiple provisions throughout Gateshead.

What you'll do

• Lead learning activities and interventions.
• Support pupils with SEND and behavioural needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Encourage confidence, independence and progress.

What we're looking for

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Calm and resilient approach.
• Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
