Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the CB2 area of Cambridge. The role involves 1:1 SEND support and general TA duties, supporting pupils with diverse needs and helping create an inclusive learning environment.

A fixed-term/long-term placement may lead to a permanent contract with the school. You will work through Teaching Personnel, with competitive weekly PAYE pay and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's experience working in UK schools.
• Teaching Assistant qualification and/or significant school-based experience.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply via Teaching Personnel).

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND and general TA duties.
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Support small groups and whole-class activities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
