Job summary

Springwell Leeds Academy, part of Wellspring Academy Trust, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant (Scale 4). The post is permanent, 37 hours a week, term time plus 5 training days, based at Springwell Leeds Academy, Leeds.

You will support pupils with SEN/SEMH, working with teachers to deliver tailored programmes. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, English fluency, and Team Teach Level 2 training or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or vulnerable individuals.
• Good knowledge of child development and how children learn.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and development using specialist skills.
• Establish positive relationships and be a role model.
• Assist with Individual Education, Behaviour and Support plans.
