Springwell Leeds Academy, part of Wellspring Academy Trust, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant (Scale 4). The post is permanent, 37 hours a week, term time plus 5 training days, based at Springwell Leeds Academy, Leeds.
You will support pupils with SEN/SEMH, working with teachers to deliver tailored programmes. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, English fluency, and Team Teach Level 2 training or willingness to obtain.

Springwell Leeds Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to implement tailored work programmes with individual pupils or groups, both inside and outside the classroom.
Our ideal candidate will support pupils who face barriers to learning, helping to maintain an orderly, productive environment where every young person can thrive. This position involves working closely with children and young people who have special educational needs (SEN) and/or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.
Springwell Leeds is a one of a kind, multi-site, city-wide specialist provision for children with SEMH needs. Our staff are committed, passionate and enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same. Creativity is encouraged, resilience is key, and a love of learning is essential. We provide children aged 5-16 with specialist teaching and learning opportunities, and are looking for the right people to join that journey.
