Job summary

Winner Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a SEN/PRU secondary school in Telford, starting from September. You will support students with SEN, provide one-to-one and small group assistance, and work closely with teachers to promote positive learning and emotional wellbeing.

Experience with secondary students and strong behaviour management are essential; Level 2/3 TA qualifications are required, and DBS checks are part of the safeguarding process.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification required.
• Experience with secondary-aged students.
• Experience supporting SEN or challenging behaviour desirable.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Patient, resilient and supportive approach.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN and additional needs.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support.
