Job summary

Aspris Telford School is seeking a versatile Teaching Assistant to join our Education team. You will support teachers, assist with pupil behaviour, and respond to individual needs in a diverse SEN environment.

The role involves emotional support, 1:1 work, and helping with lesson preparation and records. A Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) is required, with safeguarding checks to be completed.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) suitable to teaching/learning environment.
• Experience supporting in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening including DBS checks and provide references when requested.

Responsibilities

• Support across all key stages and assist teachers with tasks.
• Support pupils' behaviour and wellbeing, acting as a role model.
• Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance as needed.
• Assist with updating students records and plans, and participate in specialist training.
