Job summary

Nala Global Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Derby (DE23). This role focuses on supporting pupils with additional needs through 1:1 and small-group work, with immediate start available.

You will work to promote independence, engagement and wellbeing, with opportunities for ongoing CPD and potential permanent positions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is preferred.
• SEN experience or genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs.
• Patient, caring and resilient disposition.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
