Remedy Education is seeking a patient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs in an Essex school. The role involves 1:1 and small group work across primary and secondary classes, assisting with communication and engagement, and following individual targets.

Starting ASAP, full-time or part-time options, long-term placement with potential for permanency, with ongoing consultant support and a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups.
• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN schools in Essex that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible. This person will work in small groups or 1:1 with children who have a range of needs.
