Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Sleaford (NG34) area. You will support students with diverse needs, helping them thrive academically and personally in an inclusive learning environment.

This role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure tailored support through IEPs and adapted materials. We offer ongoing professional development and a supportive team committed to making a positive difference.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but not essential.
• Passion and willingness to learn are valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy for diverse learning needs.
• Training or qualifications in SEN are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, fostering learning.
• Assist the class teacher with IEPs and adapting materials for varied learning styles.
• Create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and professionals to support progress.
