Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Sleaford (NG34) area. You will support students with diverse needs, helping them thrive academically and personally in an inclusive learning environment.

This role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure tailored support through IEPs and adapted materials. We offer ongoing professional development and a supportive team committed to making a positive difference.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but not essential.
  • Passion and willingness to learn are valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and empathy for diverse learning needs.
  • Training or qualifications in SEN are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, fostering learning.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Sleaford (NG34) area. Key Responsibilities:
  • - Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, fostering their learning and development.
  • - Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapting materials to accommodate various learning styles.
  • - Create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, promoting confidence and independence among students.
  • - Collaborate with fellow staff members, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's progress.
Qualifications:
  • - Experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but not essential. Passion and willingness to learn are valued!
  • - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • - Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs.
  • - Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable).
