Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist schools in Wolverhampton. Full-time ongoing work with pupils who may have challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, Autism, and other complex learning needs.

The role calls for calm, patient support and the ability to establish clear boundaries. Ideal candidates will have Level 2/3 TA qualification or Level 3 Health & Social Care, plus experience with children or young people and a solid understanding of SEND.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 TA qualification or Level 3 Health & Social Care required.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Understanding of SEND and/or challenging behaviour.
• Confident and consistent approach.
• Reliable and available for full-time work.

Responsibilities

• Remain calm under pressure and support pupils with challenging behaviours.
• Establish clear boundaries and build trusting relationships.
• Help pupils regulate emotions and engage in education.
