Job summary

Aspire People are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across specialist schools and SEND settings in North and Central Birmingham. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, providing classroom support, 1:1 and small-group assistance to help them access their learning.

The role requires Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications (or Level 3 Health & Social Care), prior SEND experience, and a patient, adaptable approach.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Confident working with pupils with additional needs.
• Patient and caring approach.
• Ability to work across North & Central Birmingham.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and 1:1 or small-group assistance.
• Help pupils access their learning and participate in lessons.

Hours: Full-time / Day-to-day supply

Contract: permanent/ Temporary, with potential for longer-term roles

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification OR Level 3 Health & Social Care

• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach
• Able to work across North & Central Birmingham
