Job summary

Ebbsfleet Green Primary School is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs in a safe, inclusive setting. You’ll work closely with class teachers and support staff to provide tailored 1:1 or small group support, assisting with personal care when required and helping deliver engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will bring a passion for helping children with SEND, experience with ASD or speech and language needs, and a commitment to professional

Qualifications

  • Passionate about making a difference to children with SEND.
  • Experience supporting pupils with ASD, speech and language needs, SEMH or other needs.
  • Proactive, flexible and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to help pupils access learning.
  • Assist with personal care needs when required, while maintaining dignity.
  • Help deliver creative, inclusive lessons and interventions.
  • Encourage independence, build confidence, and foster a love of learning.

We’re seeking enthusiastic, patient, and committed Teaching Assistants to join our team at Ebbsfleet Green Primary School. You’ll work closely with class teachers and support staff to help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for pupils with a range of needs. About The Role

Who You Are
We are looking to appoint someone who is:
  • Passionate about making a difference to children with SEND
  • Experienced in supporting pupils with ASD, speech and language needs, SEMH, or other additional needs
  • Ideally qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), with strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Calm, empathetic, and resilient under pressure
  • Committed to continuous professional development
