Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for a Special Educational Needs school in the BS5 area of Bristol. The role involves supporting pupils with a variety of needs and working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored interventions.

You will help with classroom activities, build trust with students, and support their academic and emotional development throughout the day. Full training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience in education, childcare, care work, youth work, or support work is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and support learning and development.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and welcoming SEN school in the BS5 area of Bristol.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support
  • Assist with classroom activities and learning interventions
  • Build positive relationships that help pupils develop confidence and independence
  • Support students both academically and emotionally throughout the school day

  • Has a positive, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Is passionate about supporting children and young people
  • Can remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
  • Has experience in education, childcare, care work, youth work, or support work (preferred but not essential)
