Protocol Education Limited is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged children in North Bristol on a part-time basis. You will work with pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them feel secure, engaged and confident in the classroom.

Role may involve 1:1 support with individual children or helping small groups, adapting activities and providing encouragement throughout the school day.

We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work part-time with primary-aged children in North Bristol.

You’ll support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them feel secure, engaged and confident in the classroom. Depending on the placement, you may work 1:1 with individual children or support small groups, adapting activities and providing encouragement throughout the school day.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a school or similar setting
  • Can build positive, trusting relationships with children
  • Uses calm and consistent behaviour-support strategies
  • Is patient, resilient and adaptable
  • Is passionate about helping every child make progress

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, SEN support worker or someone with transferable experience looking for part-time work in North Bristol.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
