SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Denton Contract: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time, 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Pay: From £115 per day Start date: 7th September 2026 Expected end date: 23rd July 2027 We're working with a fantastic Primary School who need an experienced and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their fantastic inclusion team.
This is a long-term role supporting pupils within the school's internal alternative provision, working across two specialist classrooms.
You'll be working alongside a supportive SEN teacher and a strong team of staff to help pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and social communication difficulties (including autism, ADHD and attachment needs). Your time will be split between two classes:
Some children are non-verbal, have developing toileting independence, and require elements of personal care.

Compliance and Safeguarding This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2025) guidance and safer recruitment standards.
Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
