Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Sale. The role offers long-term, full-time employment with an immediate start, supporting pupils with complex needs including PMLD, ASD, ADHD, SLD and PDA.

You will work to support individual learning and development, as well as educational, social and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will have SEND school experience, be patient and adaptable, and possess excellent communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Experience working within a SEND school or similar specialist environment.
• Essential experience supporting pupils with complex additional needs such as PMLD, ASD, ADHD, SLD and PDA.
• Experience providing one-to-one and small group support.
• A patient and resilient approach to supporting pupils.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A flexible and adaptable attitude.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school based in Sale. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for pupils with a range of complex additional needs, including PMLD, ASD, ADHD, SLD and PDA.

The school is looking to take on an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their individual learning and development, while providing consistent support with their educational, social and emotional needs.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working within a SEND school or similar specialist environment
• Essential experience supporting pupils with complex additional needs such as PMLD, ASD, ADHD, SLD and PDA
• Experience providing one-to-one and small group support
• A patient and resilient approach to supporting pupils
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible and adaptable attitude
