Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a new independent SEND school in Kidderminster. They are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for day-to-day, long-term and permanent opportunities, starting ASAP.

You will support students with learning, development and individual needs, while helping to provide a positive and supportive learning environment. Experience with MLD, SLD or SEMH is valued.

• A patient and resilient approach to supporting students

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a new independent SEND school based in Kidderminster. The school supports students with a range of additional needs, including MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.

The school is looking for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for day-to-day, long-term and permanent opportunities, starting ASAP. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support students with their learning, development and individual needs, while helping to provide a positive and supportive learning environment.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting MLD, SLD and/or SEMH needs
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
• A patient and resilient approach to supporting students
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• An adaptable and positive attitude
