Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in schools across the Denton area of Manchester. Positions are available from September, with earlier start dates considered for suitable candidates. This is a long‑term opportunity, with additional day‑to‑day supply work also available.

You will adapt learning activities, encourage independence, and use positive behaviour strategies to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.

Working collaboratively with school staff and families, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, communication skills, and personal development throughout the school day.

  • Patience, resilience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting pupils with varying needs.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
