Job summary

TES in Warrington is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. This part-time role focuses on learning, communication and personal development in a nurturing environment.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, assisting with learning activities and personal development, while collaborating with teachers, SENCO and support staff. Enhanced DBS and safeguarding commitment are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within an SEN setting
  • Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, etc)
  • Strong communication, patience and resilience
  • Ability to build positive and consistent relationships with pupils
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • Willingness to support with personal care if required (training provided)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

TES is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Warrington, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is a part time position, working with pupils who require additional support with learning, communication and personal development.

The school caters for pupils with a variety of needs and provides a highly supportive environment with experienced staff and access to specialist training, making it an excellent opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant looking to develop their experience in a specialist setting.

SEN Teaching Assistant benefits:
